Getting to Alanya
Alanya has its own small airport, but many visitors arrive via Antalya.
Two airports
- Antalya Airport (AYT): about 125–130 km to Alanya; plan roughly 1.5–2 hours by road.
- Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP): about 41 km to the centre, with flights from some cities; check the current routes.
- Istanbul (Sabiha Gökçen) to Alanya is a flight of about 1 hour 20 minutes.
Getting around Alanya
- City buses and minibuses run through the day; some buses need a travel card.
- Taxis are available; agree on the fare or check the meter.
- Airport bus times and fares change, so check current information.
Tips
- Ask your hotel for the exact distance from the airport: Alanya spreads along the coast.
- A private transfer saves effort after a long flight, especially from Antalya.
